We invented "Hands On Search", which is a tangible search through the combination of the searchengine and a 3D printer. Hands On Search turns a spoken word into a real physical object and makes imagination real. We offered this first to people who need "sense of touch" the most - the visually impaired. This project was carried out with three schools for the blind over six months. Many people kept an eye on related activities through publicities and the website. Finally Yahoo! has turned it into open source software and the Japanese government was moved by Yahoo’s passion. The Ministry of Education adopted Hands On Search as a teaching material.
